Bio
Suzu is, simply put, beyond reason. He has never known a day of sanity, nor does it bother him. He considers himself to be more Outside of the Box and spontaneous rather than ‘disturbed’, but would on some days be entirely honest in that he is called the Mad Hatter for a reason. While he is ultimately a selfish, spiteful and murderous bastard, he is not without his intelligence which, considering how likely he is to make enemies, is likely why he's managed to live as long as he has despite the danger he presents.

He dresses eccentrically, in anything from normal street cloths to goth, costume like garb. No matter what he is wearing, he usually has different colored contacts in each eye (Favoring one eye read, the other white, or black, vibrant purples and other such combination).

He is quite old, dating back to the 1300’s, though his exact age and place of birth has long been forgotten. While it would be difficult to detail it from start to front, the better part of his history anywhere in the world can be explained like this:

Wherever he sets down roots, he prefers to live in luxury and style. He dislikes answering to the authority of anyone, so has a habit of killing off those that might try to unseat him before he even bothers to show up. Sometimes he’ll lay the groundwork with a bloodbath and then decide that he doesn’t want to stick around afterward and regret nothing about it. In light of Hunters having an interest in killing him a lot of the time (really, what did he ever do to them?), he also tends to put himself in a position to be surrounded by ignorant swarms of the living to make it difficult to corner him alone. He feeds often but occasionally tires of living the same old story day after day and takes a nice nap for a decade or two before popping up again, gorging on blood to refresh himself, and continue on his merry way.

It is often like this, again and again and again, though he changes things up along the way to avoid the mistake of being so predictable that his own lifestyle would become a trap. He also tends to stay very far away from places that he’s already been to for at least a century to ensure he is not remembered if he ever returns.

Notable Physical Feature: Suzu is, again, old and never strayed from human prey so has become quite formidable for his age. However he's not particularly fond of combat--not to say he can't do it, but his favorite has always been verbal warfare, in which he -is- very dangerous simply because his voice was, even in mortal life, a magical thing (not to say it IS magic, but could be described as thus). To make things worse, he's had centuries to practice and refine this trait, which tends to send shivers up the spines of those he seduces and chills the blood of his foes. He enjoys this effect and prefers destroying a mind as torture, rather than simply slaying a person.

Some History: Origin
While the dates are a bit fuddled, Suzu does remember his mortal life (for the most part) and how he was embraced. In life he was a whore of a man under the ownership of an abusive Master who ruled over him the power of opium, which he was happily addicted to. He was then a cruder form of what he is today: manipulative and vicious, selfish and prone to sudden shifts in mood and action. He served his master for as long as it interested him, enjoying his treatment until he finally decided that he should be the one administering it. Without any warning, while lounging in his Masters bed—while kissing him even after a night of activity, he slit his throat and licked the blade clean. In the space of a minute he renamed himself the Master and continued his business on his own, seeking higher status and wealth to feed his love of attention.

It was not all that difficult for him, having a way with words and a voice that some called ‘magical’, his skill in inflection and tone bringing men to their knees or raising them to their feet with courage they did not possess on their own. Over the course of another year or two into his mid-teens he had a scandalous book and clients in the dark—men and women alike whom, once he grew bored with his success, he began turning against each other. Not yet having the skill and practice that he has now his treachery was eventually brought to light, though not before some had died at the hands of another or humiliated with public recognition for their lifestyle. He would have been killed had he not run when he did, so he lived—long enough to meet his sire whom, not truly knowing what creature he had found in Suzu, embraced him.

They traveled together for only a few decades before Suzu decided that he had learned all he needed and betrayed him by letting him feed from a drugged victim and used the time that his sire spent in a stupor tearing him apart, then lighting him and the inn they had been staying in (along with everyone else in it) on fire.

He’s been largely on his own, happily skipping around the world ever since.

Current History:
Suzu has settled into town under the ownership of club named The Inferno that he had remodeled out of a hotel about five years before he actually moved in. Now that he’s arrived he spends a good amount of his time lounging within and is the only holder of the Master Key to the elevators and upper chambers, while his current travel partner has access to her own floor below his but no more.

Description of the The Inferno

The Playground of Sins: Open to all from the most advanced of sinners to the mildly curious.

Carved out of a hotel, the Inferno stands at six levels in height though it’s rumored to actually have seven. The rumor has so amused the Inferno founder that early into its remodeling the elevators were adjusted to display seven levels, however each floor from level five and up require keys to access.

While the Inferno has many levels, the main floor is the club itself. The stage where there are weekly live performances and the Dance Floor, which is well loved for the giant mirror above it, are only parts to the whole as this place spreads to every available corner, ‘separated’ only by the occasional steel rail. The array of tables and chairs are available all over the place—some only meant to seat two, some for slightly more, with comfortable booths raised above the rest and settled in a dimmer lighting to grant the illusion to privacy.

Come alone. Leave with company.

Or go Upstairs. Or take the elevator, perhaps. The stairs lead into the hallway outside of the Lounge, while the elevator opens directly into it.

A large portion of the second floor is simply called The Lounge simply because that is what it is. This one, large room is about half the size of the club below is designed for comfort with lighter hues to reflect a varying Heaven over Hell theme. The soft lights (which resemble watchful eyes to attentive observers) shift colors at randomly timed increments. While much of the furnishing is themed in whites and grays, the lights are entirely capable of altering the mock innocence of the place by shifting between various ‘clean’ shades to the darker side of the coin, such as reds—the blood-like splash it casts over the pure white carpet is among the owners favorites. The lights also compliment the frosted glass panels, secured in mid-air by tough wires connecting to the ceiling and floor, which give extra volume to the otherwise open space.

The music selection, while open to request, is less in volume and madness compared to the dance floor below as the purpose of the room is to inspire other pleasures.
